BEHAVIOURAL RISK ASSESSMENT
Behavioural Risk Assessment Package
The ACRRE Behavioural risk assessment package is a unique offering, providing practitioners who are developing behaviour support plans across a variety of settings (e.g. disability schools, child safety) with a tool to undertake evidence-based risk assessment.
The training provides an overview of risk assessment approaches, explores ethical and evidence-based behaviour risk assessment, considers vulnerability of risk and develops skills in behaviour risk assessment. All attendees receive a copy of the tool to use in their own practice and certificate of attendance.
Sharon Paley is the author of Risk in Challenging Behaviour, a good practice guide for professionals, published in 2005.
The training is delivered as an open course up to twice annually and can be commissioned as in house training. ACRRE offers a wide range of evidence-based training and development which can be delivered in house by one of our expert consultants, this includes:
